Sick of boring lunches? You NEED to throw an easy BLTA wrap in the lunchbox! What could be better than a bacon, lettuce, tomato & avocado wrap with a creamy dressing? Seriously the most amazing wrap ever.
I’m horrible when it comes to lunches. I get stuck in a lunch rut and I’ll make the same thing for two or three days in a row.
Mostly because I’m making lunches for all my kids before I get the chance to make something for myself which means I’m starving and don’t want to take the time to get creative!
But my kids? They get all sorts of creative lunches. Especially my older two. When they’re in school, I’m all over trying new cool sandwiches and wrap recipes. There’s nothing that bugs me more than pulling out that lunchbox after school to clean it and their entire lunch is still in there. Not. Cool.
I’ve found the more creative I get, the more those boys eat. So, why not a BLT with a little avocado and drizzled with a yummy dressing?
This wrap isn’t just for kids, though. Both kids and adults will devour this quick and easy lunch wrap. I don’t know about you, but I buy bacon at Costco – meaning, 4 packs in one package. #winning
We’re a little bacon crazy at my house. I usually have some already cooked bacon in a resealable container in the fridge. If you’re not a crazy bacon cooker like I am, you can always use pre-cooked bacon or microwave a few turkey bacon slices, too.
Layer bacon, lettuce, slices of tomato, and avocado into a whole wheat wrap. Drizzle with a combo of Tessemae’s mayo and Green Goddess dressing plus a little cracked pepper, roll up and devour. SO GOOD!
Speaking of Tessemae’s… have you tried their All Natural Dressings yet? Holy cow. I am super impressed with them!
I used their Green Goddess dressing in this recipe, which is a vegan friendly and sugar free dressing mixed with clean-eating ingredients. Tessemae’s dressings are also paleo and Whole 30 approved, too!
But I’m pretty sure the mayo is my fave. I love me some mayo. We go through it pretty quick. I usually buy regular light mayo and we’ll make egg salad or tuna salad sandwiches but ever since I found Tessemae’s mayo, I’m a changed woman. I feel like you don’t need as much of it and it has a more intense flavor than the other brands. Plus it’s so much healthier. I’m so happy I found it!
These great Tessemae’s products are inexpensive, too. I’ve been able to find them easily at my grocery stores here in California. If you can’t find them at your store, you can easily purchase them online at their website HERE. Use this coupon code: JengoesTesse to get 10% off your order!!
You will love these BLTA wraps, guaranteed. They’re crunchy, savory, flavorful, easy to throw together, healthy and delicious! The perfect lunchbox lunch for adults and kids alike!
Just a quick side note: Many of the Tessemae’s dressings & marinades are olive oil based and therefore, the olive oil solidifies when chilled in the frig. When you store your dressings in the frig (refrigerate for quality up to 7 months), it’s important that you know the dressings haven’t spoiled/gone bad! Just let your dressing warm to room temperature on the kitchen counter or place the bottle in warm water for a few minutes (I use a mug filled with hot water from the tap).

I was introduced to BLT’s from my mother WAY back in the day. They became a staple of my family’s dinners when I was growing up. My mother was also the first one to add the A to the BLAT as she called it. I never understood at first…until I tried it for myself. Man, the A really makes a difference! Now I’m an avocado fiend and LOVE a great BLAT.
I am with you–my kids better eat what I pack them, so if that means an extra bit of creativity, then so be it! I LOVE this wrap–and my kids would flip for it! On the lunch list 🙂
Yum, this looks easy and delicious! I wish I had one of these for lunch when I was a kid!
These look perfect for a quick lunch. And a great way to use up extra tomatoes from my garden! 🙂
This sounds great! If you put it in a lunchbox for later, does the avocado go bad?
Hi Lisa! I always squeeze a little bit of lemon juice on my avocado so it doesn’t brown. I hope you give this a try- it’s so good!
If I make this the night before will the avocado turn brown before I can eat it?
It’s very possible it would. I would put a little lime or lemon juice on the avocado before you wrap it up and it should keep it from turning brown. Enjoy! This is one of my favorite wrap recipes!
Delicious! I used a little less bacon and added turkey lunch meat.
That sounds amazing! Thank you for the comment and I’ll be adding turkey next time, lol!
