In reply to Mindy. Hi Mindy! I would say 12-14 cups but you can totally eyeball it. It's a very forgiving recipe and it depends on the thickness of applesauce that you like. I hope you try it!

I sometimes get apples that are not all the same size, can you give me a measurement of ready to go apples? 10-12 cups?

In reply to Katie Ellis. Hi Katie! I would say double the recipe for that many kiddos. The regular recipe would probably make enough for 3 oz. cups but maybe just to be safe, double it. It's really good and you can always take home the leftovers! Let me know how it goes and if the kids like it!
