Hi! So I originally had this post all ready to go and had typed out how excited I was to have a low-profile holiday weekend with no baseball games or birthday parties, etc. Well, last night my husband starts having seriously bad stomach pains. Really, scary bad. So at 11:30 pm I took him into the ER and several painful hours later, we find out it’s his appendix and he’s going to need to get it taken out.
Sooo…surgery was this morning and everything went well. He’ll be able to come home tomorrow (Sunday) morning. I sure feel grateful for hospitals and for good friends who offer to watch my kids, cook meals for us, etc. I no longer have a restful long weekend ahead but I’m extremely grateful that my sweet husband is better!
