In reply to Jess. Oh geez. I don't know! I would eat all the dough before baking them if I waited, lol! I haven't actually tried making the dough in advance. My only thought would be that it might dry out a bit. Maybe the day prior to baking would be fine, though? I hope you give them a try. They are SOOOO good!

In reply to Carrie. Hi Carrie! I recently made these cookies again and had the same issue as you and refrigerated them for a little bit and the dough was fine. I don't know why but that hasn't happened to me before this last time I made them. I'm going to add a note in the recipe that you might need to refrigerate if the dough is too sticky. Your dough should be fine after being in the fridge for 20 minutes or so. Thanks!

Did you refrigerate these prior to attempting to roll them? I am stuck at this point. I have put them in the refrigerator hoping they the dough will not be so sticky.

In reply to Shauna. I've never tried it without the sour cream but I don't think they would taste very good. The sour cream makes them moist. You can use yogurt in place of it if you'd rather! Is it because you don't like sour cream or just don't have any on hand?

In reply to Katie. Hi Katie! I usually put my cookies in an air-tight tupperware container and put a layer of wax or parchment paper between the cookies and that does the trick! I can't wait to hear how you like them! Let me know if you have any other questions!
