Brown Sugar Bacon
This easy bacon is baked in the oven with a topping of brown sugar and pepper, and comes out sticky, sweet & savory.
Servings: 1 pound of candied bacon
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Place a wire rack on top of each sheet.
Place bacon in a single layer on the two racks. Sprinkle the bacon slices with pepper and then brown sugar.
Bake in preheated oven until bacon is crisp and browned, about 15-20 minutes, rotating sheets halfway through for even cooking. Pat dry with paper towels, if necessary. Enjoy!
