Sweet & Sour Meatballs

Ingredients

Meatball Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3/4 c. rolled oats
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 c.milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1/4 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, lightly mix together - ground beef, oats, eggs, onion, milk, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Divide into 12 meatballs and place in casserole dish. Then make the sauce by
  • combining all sauce ingredients in a saucepan and heat for a few minutes just to dissolve sugars. Pour over the meatballs in the casserole dish and place in preheated oven.
  • Bake for 30 minutes and serve over rice, pasta or potatoes. Enjoy!
