I subbed with gf flour and added alittle freshly ground flax and cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Was delicious! But I think that the dates bring a lot of sugar, and I could easily half the sugar. I prefer my cookies with less sugar though!

Can I give 100 stars? This recipe is fantastic and just what I've been looking for. It's a lighter/healthier cheesecake that tastes like the "real thing"! I did make a couple of changes because of availability-I used one regular cream cheese and one light. I only had nonfat plain Greek yogurt and vanilla sandwich cookies (like Oreos). I used one teaspoon of vanilla and added 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract for that authentic cheesecake flavor. They were beyond delicious. I added a few fresh blueberries after they cooled, but will use blueberry (or other) pie filling next time. (The fresh ones rolled off.) I also discovered that I should have removed the paper cups after cooling. They were a little hard to remove. Again, unlimited stars*********!
