Baked Meatballs that are some of the best ever meatballs in the history of all meatballs! Such a simple and easy meatball recipe. Very tender and flavorful!
Baked Meatballs win every time in my house, hands down. My boys LOVE them. I have zero meatball memories from when I was growing up. Maybe I just don’t remember but I’m pretty sure my mom didn’t make them. Which is fine, except my husband’s mom did and so meatballs were requested when I was newly married.
I remember the first few times I made meatballs, I cooked them on a skillet. Worst way to cook them. The oil would splatter leaving grease everywhere and you have to brown them in batches which takes FOREVER. Half the time they would fall apart just from being turned and moved constantly. But then I learned that you can bake meatballs in the oven instead! Life. Changing.
Here’s a little video to show how I put these Baked Meatballs together:
In no time, you have a whole pan of meatballs that are cooked through and ready to eat either by themselves, or thrown in sauce over spaghetti, etc. SO easy and SO quick. No more cooking meatballs in batches or standing by the stovetop! Plus, these are great to have your kids help with. My older boys love to help mix the meat and roll them into balls.
This particular Baked Meatball recipe makes the best meatballs I’ve ever had. They have so much flavor and maintain juiciness after baking. Every bite is full of flavor from the garlic, parsley and cheese. A definite winner in our house. We never have leftovers!

I only have green onions. Will that work, or should I use onion powder or onion salt instead?
Hi! You can definitely use green onions OR onion powder! I look having the texture in there so I would go with a minced green onion but the onion powder would be good to. I hope you like them!
THESE MEATBALLS WERE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!!! LITERALLY, BEST IVE EVER MADE!! THANK YOU!
Thank you so much, Nicole!!!
These were delicious! So easy to make and a huge hit!
Aren’t they amazing?! So glad you liked them!!
I tried this recipe today. Delicious! The ingredients are in perfect proportion and harmony and I won’t dare alter it. There’s a slight, complementary sweetness to the flavour that’s much appreciated in every bite. Thank you, Jen.
Thanks so much!! It’s one of the easiest recipes but tastes so good!
Just wondered if you can double recipe with no issues? Some you can’t it doesn’t work without adjusting ingredients thanks
Hi there! You should be able to double without any problems. I hope you enjoy them!
Hi can I freeze it..? If yes during cooked or uncooked stage.. tks..
I’ve never actually made these ahead of time and frozen them but I’m sure you could make them, roll them into balls, freeze on a cookie sheet and when hardened, transfer to a freezer bag. I would add probably 20-25 minutes extra cook time when popping in the oven when frozen. Let me know how it works out!
I always make extra to freeze I freeze my cooked meatballs in bags and take out as many as I need to make a quick sandwich or pasta dish. My husband likes to quickly microwave some and eats with ketchup
My favorite..one of the few recipes I always turn back to thank you!
Would these work to make ahead of time or to freeze? How would you suggest doing so?
My ideal goal would be to have them ready and available to just pop on the oven.
Thanks!

This recipe is great! I wanted to share that I made a double recipe and baked them as directed. I froze them in a freezer bag after they cooled. Used them this week, they defrosted perfectly and tasted great!
Also, I was short on ketchup so I subbed with marinara sauce. I also used Italian bread crumbs because that’s what I had on hand and omitted the thyme. Delicious!
Love it!! Thank you for commenting and letting us know what worked for you! So happy you liked the meatballs!
Made this today and it’s delicious! I’m thinking of making mini burgers with it next time. Love it!
I’m so happy you liked them!! They’re one of our favorite dinners! And Mini Burgers sound amazing!
I just did this and it’s good! I was worried about cooking with ketchup, but it turned out great!
YAY!! I’m so happy you liked them! Thanks for the comment!
I was wondering if instead of spraying a cookie sheet with non-stick spray, if I could use parchment paper instead? Thanks!
You can definitely use parchment paper instead!
These really are the ” best ever”! Made exactly as written. Very moist, tender and flavorful. Will definitely make again.
I am so super happy you liked my meatball recipe!! They are seriously so good and easy! Thanks for the nice comment!
The best meatballs I have ever made, my husband loved them. I used what I had and they came out great.
I’m thrilled you liked them!! They are a favorite of ours too! Thanks for the nice comment!!
Love this recipe. I need easy and it is. My family really likes it and I’ve got picky eaters!
I’m so happy you liked it!! Thanks for the sweet comment!
Loved this recepi! Thanks for sharing Jen. I only did 2 things differently….I added 2 eggs instead of 1 and I used regular ground beef 80/20% fat. I thought it made the meatballs nice and moist. The best meatballs I ever made!!! For real!!!
I’m so happy you liked them!!!
Made these for 50 people (quadrupled the recipe) and oh myyyy they were gone in minutes!! Everyone is still talking about them 5 days later!!! I have a feeling I’ll be asked to bring these to all future gatherings
I followed the recipe for the meatballs to the T – and then just used barbecue sauce for the dip. Thank you so much
Oh my gosh, this comment makes me so so soooo happy!! Thank you for trusting my recipe! I’m so happy everyone liked them!!
These are AMAZING! I just made a batch and I’m not sure I’ll be sharing with my husband. I added about 1 T of Worcestershire out of habit. <3 perfection
Isn’t this recipe just amazing?! Thanks for the comment!
I found some wonderful ideas for meatballs and many other recipes that I really want to try out.
These meatballs are terrific! I subbed out the breadcrumbs for crushed pork rinds and my husband couldn’t even tell (keto). I used no sugar added Heinz Ketchup. It only made 15, but they were obviously larger. I will definitely be making these again. Thank you!
Woohoo!! So happy you liked them! Love the idea of the crushed pork rinds, I’ll be trying that next time!
By far, the best meatballs I’ve made! Thanks so much! My husband loves them!
YAY! Thank you for the comment! SO happy you and the hubs liked them!
This may be a silly question but can these be used for meatballs in spaghetti? Take the ketchup out?
Not a silly question, yes!! You can make them as is and put them with sauce and spaghetti! They’re so good!
Hi! Can these meatballs be made with ground chicken instead of meat? Thanks!
Hi Ana! I’ve never tried using ground chicken with this recipe but I would say if you do try it, freeze or refrigerate them a bit before baking them so they harden a little bit. Ground chicken is very soft and might not hold up as well as ground beef unless chilled. Does that make sense? I’m sure it would be delicious though!
These are the best ever! My kids are picky eaters and gave up on meatballs until I tried these. They asked for extra helpings. Unheard of in our house. Just an FYI, I grated the onion and garlic so that it was more liquified, no chunks. Made the meatballs very flavorful. Thanks for the recipe!!
I’m so happy your kiddos loved them, Ginger!! Thank you for your sweet comment!
Hey Jen wanna make these for Xmas to take to a family gathering.. I would like to make cocktail meatballs with grape jelly and cocktail sauce and dump in crockpot.. My question is should I omit the parmesan cheese for this type of meatballs recipe????
I’m so sorry I didn’t get back to you before Christmas! I’ve never used these meatballs for the grape jelly cocktail meatballs, but I’m thinking you probably don’t need to omit anything. Did you end up trying them without the parmesan?
Hi may I know whether I can substitute it to ground chicken. Thanks
I’ve never tried using ground chicken but I’m guessing it will be fine! I’ve made these using beef and turkey. You may need the cook time to be a little shorter, though. Let me know how they turn out!
I made these tonight and they were wonderful!! My kids could not get enough of them they were finished in no time at all! Next time I will double or even triple the recipe.
thank you they were easy and delicious
Thank you, Lisa! So happy you liked them!
Delicious! Glad I made a double batch – my daughter and I are eating them right off the cookie sheet 🙂 I made them to freeze for future meals. Thank you for the recipe!
Yay!! I just made them again for the millionth time yesterday too and made a double batch. Such good leftovers! Thanks for the nice comment!
Making these today…best recipe for meatballs.
Made these and they were delish! Thank you for the recipe
Thank you! I’m so happy you liked them!
Wow! I’ve been making meatballs for years and just haven’t really found “the one”…until now! These are perfect! THANKS!
Oh my word, thank you so much!!! I am SO happy you like them! It’s my only go-to meatball recipe – it’s the best!
Can I used Coriander instead of parsley?
I’ve never tried it before but I’m sure it would be great!
I’m super excited to try these out. Do you have any suggestions for how to serve as a dinner meal versus an appetizer?
I throw them with spaghetti sauce and pair with noodles! Super easy dinner!
Hey Jen,
I tried these for dinner last night and they were wonderful!! I did add 1 tsp of Worschestire sauce and they were sooo good. I placed them on a bed of Garlic, Butter and Parmesan noodles. Sooo delish. Thanks for the recipe. 🙂
I’m so happy you liked them! It’s one of my favorite easy dinner recipes!
I honestly can say that this recipe is hands downs THE BEST meatball recipe that I’ve EVER come across. They are so juicy and tasty. I’ve made them at least half a dozen times and it’s almost like the get better and better each time I make them. Never any left either! That’s always a good sign. Thanks so much for this fabulous recipe ?
Thank you, thank you!!! SO happy you liked them!
These are amazing. I’ve ways been scared of making meatballs and not anymore and best part they are toddler and picky hubby approved!!!
Hi! First time I’ve written to a blogger! I am allergic to dairy…is it ok to omit the cheese? Do I need to substitute something else (not tofu please…allergic to soy too)? Hi
Hi Sandee! You can definitely leave the parmesan cheese out of the recipe. I wonder if nutritional yeast would be a good substitute? I think they would still be delicious without anything replacing the cheese though. I hope you give them a try!
What does the ketchup do? Does it make it moister since you don’t use milk?
Hi Teresa! Yes, they add more flavor and make them a little more moist. I hope you give them a try – they’re delicious!
Can we substitute the ketchup?
I’ve never substituted it for anything before but I would guess tomato sauce would work too! Let me know how they turn out! Thanks!
These are always a huge hit!! The talk of my work potluck. And they have no idea how many I ate before bringing them in… 🙂
I want to make them a little smaller and add toothpicks to make them more Thanksgiving finger foods. I’m just concerned that they’ll fall apart because they’re so rich. Any suggestions for modifications here?
YAY! So happy you like them! Okay, I would say to use dried onion instead of diced or add super finely diced onion (maybe a little less than the recipe calls for) to make them a little more sturdy. I’ve found that the bigger the onion pieces, the more they tend to fall apart. Let me know how they turn out!
I made these delicious meatballs and they were a big hit.The spices in this dish is simple but so very tasty. I love ALL of your recipes. Keep up the good work.
My boys love meatballs too. But now I have to start learning how to make it. Luckily, I bumped to your recipe!
Yay!! Super happy to have you! These meatballs are the best!
Have you ever had issue with them falling apart after you baked them?
They were delicious but a few of them didnt keep their shape when I tried picking them up off the pan. Any recommendations? Otherwise these are perfect, I’m making them again tonight!
Hi Britt! I find that if I don’t spray the pan enough, sometimes they stick. Also, if I don’t cut the onion up pretty fine, sometimes they fall apart a bit. But overall, we love this recipe! I love that the meatballs are tender and juicy. I’m happy you liked them and are trying them again! Thanks for leaving a comment!
These look delicious! I think I’ll try them for Christmas. Have you ever made them with a combination of sausage and hamburger? Thanks!
I haven’t! I’ve made them using ground turkey though! I’m sure sausage and ground beef would be amazing with this meatball recipe!
Hello! I absolutely LOVE these meatballs!
What is the nutritional label for these?
Hi Amy! I just added in the nutritional info for the meatballs. Thank you for pointing out that I forgot to add it in. I’m so happy you like this recipe!
Made the easy baked meatballs for my family. Served as meatball subs-received great compliments.
Thank you for a great recipe.
Oh, meatball subs is a great idea! Thank you for giving these meatballs a try! I’m so happy you liked them!
Made these for supper tonight and they were soooo good! I have a non garlic eater in my house (I know right), so I left that out and added a tsp of Worcester. Very tasty and moist. Definitely a keeper in my house!
This comment makes me so happy! Thank you so much for trying them and I’m glad they were a hit!
I made them for the first time tonight, Wow what a hit. My wife don’t really like meatballs but one taste and she couldn’t stop eating them. Thank you for your recipe. I will be making them again for our Church event..
Woohoo! So happy you liked them!
Anyway I can use something other then breadcrumbs? I don’t have any on hand and really don’t want to leave the house to get some! Haha
Do you happen to have bread on hand? You can puree some bread to use instead of the breadcrumbs!
Can you use 85/15 turkey?
You sure can!
These meatballs are really good. Thanks so much for my new meatball recipe! The ingredients are perfect..I didnt change a thing however I only had about 1/2 the parmesan cheese and they were still delicious. Thank u!
I’m so happy you liked it!! Thank you for the nice comment! It’s such an easy and delish recipe!
Absolutely delicious!
Thanks Vanessa!
Jen, what a gorgeous idea! We absolutely love baked meatballs! Definitely need to try these!
You need to!! They’re so so so good!
Can these be frozen after cooked
Yes! Place them on a parchment lined cookie sheet, not touching each other, and place them in the freezer. Let them freeze enough that you can pull them off the sheet pan and place inside a large plastic ziploc bag and they won’t stick together. Good luck!
Hi Jen,
Tried your yummy baked meatballs.
Delicious! Moist and very flavorful. Easy to make as well. I will definitely be making these again. Thank you so much for sharing your receipe.
Thank you Connie!
Jen, thank you! Wonderfull meatballs! I made it last night and they were easy and absolutely delicious!
I’m so happy you liked them! Thank you for leaving a nice comment! 🙂
Jen, this looks incredible and insanely delicious! I’ll definitely make it next time I host a party!
Thank you! You definitely should – they’re so delicious!
Thank you I am trying out your recipe for Baked meatballs. Making a meal of spaghetti & meatballs for a young lady who is recovering from a fall and has 3 young children . I am sure they will enjoy
Judi Kincaid
Thank you Judi!
Can you make these ahead of time and just heat them up. I would like to make them for my book club but don’t want to have to do a lot of cooking while they are here.
You definitely can! Just place them on a cookie sheet in the fridge until you’re ready to bake. Enjoy!!
Jen, it’s amazing! I just made this meatball today and I absolutely LOVED it. I already can’t wait to make it more often!
Yay!!! Thanks Polly!
I tried your recipe for the meatballs and it was a big hit! I think that bit of ketchup gave it just the right amount of sweetness. Froze half of them and used them the 2nd time on meatball subs! Delicious!
I’m so happy you liked them, Pat! Meatball subs are a great idea!
Freaking delicious!!! Love the unique flavor, plus they cook fast!! And easy ingredients as well!!!
Thanks Sarah! I’m so happy you liked them!
The first time I made them I forgot the onion and they were still delicious. I made them again and they’re amazing! Thank you !
Thank you for the nice comment!! I’m glad you liked them!
Meatball is favorite thing for my kids. This recipe is easy. I will cook it for dinner. Thanks.
I love this recipe!! I have made it 5 times now and every time it turns out great! Thank you for sharing this recipe. So easy to make and yes they are full of flavor and stay nice and juicy. I make a double batch freeze half and use them to make Swedish Meatballs.. I just put them in the crock pot with a can or two of cream of chicken soup, then later when its all heated together nicely serve over egg noodles with a nice tossed salad on the side. Very very good and never ever have any left overs..
I am making them tonight for Sunday dinner with my extended family. I am sure they will love it too and be very impressed.
I do have a question, I was wondering if this recipe would work with ground chicken or turkey? I have some family members that dont care for red meat.
Well, thanks again!
Sincerely,
Tasia~
Hi Tasia! I’ve made these with ground turkey and they come out great! Just sub the beef for turkey and you’re all set!
Love this recipe! It was very easy and Yummy. My family enjoyed the meatballs.
YAY!! My family loves them, too! I’m glad you liked them!
Tasty and delicious. I chopped onions in chopper which I prefer and use homemade sauce instead of ketchup.
I used ground turkey and scallions, but followed the rest of the ingredient list. Amazing! Will be making these again. Cook time was a bit longer though. Thank you for the recipe!
I love using ground turkey in this recipe! I’m so glad you liked it!
Looking forward to trying out recipe for baked meatballs. Hopefully over next week I’ll be able to try it out.
You will love them, Amy!! They’re so good!
I dont even normally like meat balls but these are delicious!
Thank you so much, Lisa!!
Made these tonight…I have a picky teen who really doesn’t eat much meat but she INHALED these. I used minced onion and since I didn’t have parmesan used some shredded cheese , sweet and sour sauce instead of ketchup and Italian seasoning instead of parsley. Topped with more sweet and sour sauce the last 5 minutes of cooking…SO DELICIOUS!!!
So tasty, moist and SO simple! It was a hit with my whole family. My 9 month old said “mmmm!” the whole time!
That’s so awesome Shannon! Thank you!!
These are the best meatballs I’ve ever made.
Very Juicy.
My husband loves them.
Yay! Thanks Helen!!
My family loves these meatballs. I would like to try these mixture as a meatloaf. I have never made a meatloaf before. Is there anything I need to change in the ingredients? What temperature and how long do you think I should bake it at? Thank you!
Hi Ashley! I don’t know how this meatball recipe would be as a meatloaf recipe BUT I do have this amazing meatloaf recipe on my site that I’m sure you would love! It has so many awesome reviews and my boys LOVE IT! Here’s the link: https://www.yummyhealthyeasy.com/best-ever-meatloaf-recipe/
Thank you for your reply. I am going to give it a try!!
Without a doubt, one of the best, if not THE BEST meatball recipe I have tried. I used a 50 pork /50 beef ground meat combination. So good and juicy. I will be freezing a bunch of meatballs for future. I did not deviate on any ingredients or quantities – other than the meat as noted above. Sorry, no ability to take and post pictures!
They really are soooooo good! I’m so happy you liked them! Thanks for the nice comment!
I can’t wait to try your recipe. I am thinking of using extra lean ground beef to cut down on the fat content but am worried the meatballs may be dry. Have you tried this recipe with extra lean ground beef?
I do use extra lean ground beef! Make sure you use real onion and not granulated onion powder. I tried that once and they were so dry! Good luck and I hope you like them!
These are soooooo good!!!
We make them all the time!
We’ve started making them for burgers. We do a big batch and then freeze them!
My family has become burger snobs! They only want these burgers….
Thank you so much for sharing this!!
Oohh burgers are a great idea! I’m so glad you like the recipe!
We have tried many meatball recipes so when I saw this one that said “best ever” I thought, “ oh another one that thinks they’re the best!” But they truly are! I too usually get about 30 out of each batch. Then I add them to spaghetti sauce, unfortunately half of them are usually eaten before I get them in the pan!!! I’ve decided to double the batch this time and freeze half of the uncooked meatballs so I’m ready next time or would you cook and then freeze? Thanks Jen!
Thank you, Jackie!! We love them, too!
What can I use if I don’t have breadcrumbs?
Panko breadcrumbs work, too if you have those! If not, you can break up some bread (or use the food processor to process it) and let it sit out to dry. I hope this helps!
In the process of making these now. Is the Nutrition information for just 1 of the 30 meatballs? I am looking for the serving size and don’t see it. I am following a specific diet plan and want to be honest about what and how much I am consuming! Thanks!
Hi Mary! I got the nutrition facts from my fitness pal app and yes, it’s for one meatball if your recipe makes 30 meatballs. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
Just tried these and they are terrific! I made them around lunchtime and fixed my granddaughter a “meatball hero” on a hot dog bun and she loved it! So easy and sooo good! Thank you.
A meatball hero is a fabulous idea! I’m so glad you liked them!
Super easy to make and perfect for anything. They are delicious plain and in my bbq meatballs. I used about 2/3 pound of venison and 1/3 pound of ground pork, as I was afraid my venison would be too lean and fall apart if I did the full pound all venison.
I did not have fresh onions, used dried. Did not have fresh garlic, used 1 tsp dried. Did not have fresh parsley, used dried, did not have parmesan, used dried cheddar. The meatballs were yummy nonetheless. Clearly this is so versatile, you cannot go wrong, even with few fresh ingredients. Next time I will put half the salt though, as I don’t like too much salt. Meatballs were in oven 20 mins as my stove is old, did not know if 15 mns would be enough. They were a bit crispy at bottom. My husband loved them anyway. Enjoy.
Absolutely delicious! They taste like my Grammie’s recipe!
I omitted the Parm. to bring the calories down a bit more & my husband still loves them!
I am so glad you liked them! They are a favorite of ours!
I loved them. Made a triple batch when the ground beef went on sale. My husband only eats Swedish meatballs but loved these. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for the nice comment, Cindy! I’m so glad you all loved them!
Fantastic. This will be my go-to recipe in the future. I use a traditional meatball mix of beef and pork. Only thing is that it only made 8 balls. Granted they weren’t 1” but not that much larger.
Love this recipe! Thank you for sharing!
This is truly the best ever meatball recipe I have come across. Thanks so much for sharing. The proportion of the ingredients is perfect.
Thank you so much for this comment! I’m so glad you liked it!
The best meatballs ever! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing. It looks so yummy.
I made this last week and it was delicious! So easy but full of flavor. Thank you!!!!
WOW! So good and so easy to make. Even my husband approves!
I normally don’t post a review when there are a ton of comments already raving about a recipe, but I just wanted to let others know that I made this recipe with plant based ground beef, flax egg, and nutritional yeast instead of parm, and they were still the best I’ve ever made! Oftentimes, recipes specially made to be vegan don’t hit the mark, but taking a good solid normal recipe and veganizing works way better for me. This is the case here and I’ll make these again and again!
Love these! So tender and packed full if flavor!
Scrumptious! I just made a batch of these meatballs. They are the tastiest meatballs I’ve ever had. You don’t need to put any sauce on these, they are that great. Thank you for this recipe. You are the best!
This has been my go to meatball recipe for awhile now!
We use a ground turkey & ground pork mix and these are so delicious! This has become our go to recipe that my 10 year old loves making.
Delicious
So easy and flavorful. Haven’t made homemade meatballs in a long time… came across your recipe and was not disappointed. Will definitely make again.!!
This is the best meatball recipe ever, It’s definitely my go to!! The only thing I changed was two table spoons of ketchup instead of three..
I made this and the meatballs turned out great! I had 3 pounds of ground beef and adjusted the recipe accordingly. No problem.
Best meatball is for sure a true statement. I made these and there were none left. You will not be disappointed.
Quick and easy and sooo delicious! I was out of Parmesan cheese and it was still flavorful without it. Already added it to my recipe collection.
First time attempting meatball and they were absolutely amazing! Great recipe! Thanks for sharing.
I love these so much. I also flatten them before putting in oven and use as the meat for sliders! Hubby loves, son loves and everyone is happy!!
Loved this recipe! I used turkey meat and put in onion flakes and just a tad bit of garlic. I tripled the recipe for my father-in-laws 94th birthday party. I will be having 30 guests! I tasted them already and I am so pleased! Best meatball recipe I have ever found! Thank you!
Definitely 5 stars !!! I also added one box frozen chopped spinach (defrosted & drained) like my mom always did to hers. Husband said they are a winner for sure! Thank you Jen!
Dee-lish-ous!
Thank you Laura!!
They came out delicious! Just made them this morning and am going to use them as swedish meatballs for dinner tonight.
Did not change a thing – this recipe was and is the “Best Ever (Easy) Baked Meatballs recipe. Instructions were detailed, easy to follow and result was wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
Very simple to make! Great flavor. All over, very tasty.
Truly the best and I never like meatballs!!
Excellent! Hubby loved them.
“Best Ever Baked Meatballs” is the best meatball recipe ever, so easy and so delicious!
These meatballs are a family favorite and always disappear. I do modify by using Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb blend in place of fresh garlic & onion as kids prefer but followed rest of recipe.. Delish!
I love these! I used part beef and part ground pork because that’s how my mother-in-law always made hers and these turned out SO GOOD! Don’t overmix is the key, so thank you for that tip.
The best recipe ever! Easy and delicious. Probably the only one I’ll ever use.
Excellent and quite easy. I added a bit more cheese and garlic because that is my preference. Definitely will make again.
These are great! Easy and so good!
Excellent recipe! I use oatmeal instead of dried bread crumbs and also I used 2 small grated tomatoes instead of ketchup to be healthier! Thanks 🙂
Will be making these tonight. I will be making them with half pork and half beef though! will post an update after we tried them 🙂
I made these with ground elk. I used gluten free breadcrumbs, 2 eggs, less onion, and 1/4 cup ketchup. The meatballs were delicious and moist which is hard to achieve with lean meat like elk.
So good, don’t even look at other recipes
OMG. Soooo glad I found this recipe! Absolutely delicious and so easy. And no sticking to hand or scoop. Popped them in the air fryer for 8 minutes @350. Perfect. Made quadruple batch but think I’m going to need even more next time. Again so easy, clean and quick!
I made these last night!!! They were fabulous! Just a few changes, being that I didn’t have the ingredients on hand…I used oatmeal instead of breadcrumbs, and pasta sauce instead of the ketchup. They were easy to make and SO tasty!!!!
These were the best ones I have ever made . I did some changes I didn’t have bread crumbs so I used Panko didn’t have onions . I will make these again . Thanks so so much oh I also did half ground beef and Italian sausage .
I think most people use a recipe as a starting place and use what they have. This was a GREAT starting place. I used Panko crumbs, a little less garlic and pasta sauce instead of catsup. I added ¼ tsp each of dried oregano and basil, shaped 18 meatballs and cooked them on a parchment paper covered cookie sheet for 22 minutes. ….. and I was gentle with the mixing. They were very, very good. We will have these often. Thank you very much for sharing. I accept the compliments on your behalf.
I absolutely love this recipe!!! I am a family of 5 so I plan to use a little over 2 pounds of ground beef, do I need to double the ingredients?
Hi Lo! I have 4 boys and usually just use the one pound of ground beef and it’s enough for everyone but it depends on what you’re putting it with. But yes, you can double the ingredients if you’re using 2 pounds and they’ll turn out great. You can even freeze the extras (if you have any!)
I tried it yesterday and it came out great! This is very moist and tender unlike the other recipes I have tried before. Thanks!
These meatballs are the best ever
I use a food scale to size them evenly and freeze extra after cooling. I make 1oz for pasta and 2oz for sandwiches. So good.
Made these tonight and they were a huge hit !
After reading the comments and how good they were I decided to double the recipe and exchange some things such as regular bread crumbs to Panko, used Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb along w fresh garlic and onion.
I will definitely make again real soon.
Thank you so much, Judy!
SO DELICIOUS!!! I LOVE!
I made these for dinner tonight and everyone loved them! I added a dash of soy sauce and used Italian seasoning blend instead of parsley. Yum! Thanks for the great recipe
Tonight I taught my son how to make meatballs using this recipe. They came out great! So flavorful.
