This clean-eating Grilled Lemon Rosemary Chicken recipe is easy to make, healthy and bursting with lemony flavor! (This post is sponsored by Foster Farms®, the opinions expressed are my own.)
We eat a LOT of chicken at our house. In fact, it’s my go-to protein for dinner. Chicken teriyaki, chicken burgers, chicken casserole…the list goes on and on. Since it’s such an important part of my family’s diet, I make sure to buy good quality, fresh chicken.
Foster Farms is my favorite brand to buy. I can find it at every supermarket I shop at, readily available. It’s always comparable in price to other brands, and it tastes fresh and delicious. Foster Farms is family-owned and operated since 1939. All of their fresh chicken is locally grown to the West Coast and is American Humane Certified. They just introduced the Organic and Simply Raised antibiotic free lines and I am a huge fan.
As a mom of four boys, we go through a lot of food. 😉 I like to feed them meals that are less processed and full of healthy ingredients. Clean eating is becoming more and more popular, especially when it comes to meat. With 85% of parents stating that their criteria for buying meat and poultry has changed over the last several years and 42% cited having a child as the primary reason (based on an independent survey conducted by Metrix Lab).
I think most parents would agree that we don’t want our kids eating chemicals and added hormones! So I buy Foster Farms chicken. My favorite is their Simply Raised. There are no antibiotics administered – EVER and the chickens are 100% vegetarian fed and American Humane Certified. The chicken is 100% natural (minimally processed, no additives or preservatives, steroids or hormones) and produced with no added sodium. Plus, it’s locally grown throughout CA, OR, and WA which is great for me, living in California!

Heat your grill to medium-high heat and grill your chicken until the internal temperature reaches 165º. Add a slice of lemon to the top if you want a little extra lemon boost.

Thank you for sharing this recipe. I’m gonna try making some in my kitchen. White meat is good too because it’s packed with protein and less fat.
You’re right, this dish does look elegant, but simple. I’ll have to add it into our dinner rotation. 🙂

This recipe got me feeling a bit nostalgic. My mom used to make grilled chicken with rosemary when we were still kids. Thanks for bringing me back there.
