Quick & Easy Granola Trail Mix is the best snack for any time of the day! (This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Nature Valley Protein Granola via Burst Media. The opinions and text are all mine.)
I’m going to be totally honest with you. I usually don’t keep sweets in the house that I like.
As in, there are popsicles in the freezer and licorice in the cupboard. And that’s totally fine, because I know I won’t eat them because licorice and popsicles are not in my list of awesome treats (hope I’m not offending any popsicle & licorice lovers out there, ha!). So do you do that too? I think it’s pretty smart of me. 😉
But…I’m not perfect. I’m sort of a granola hoarder.
Yep. I admit that at any given time, I have five different bags of granola in my pantry. Granola is my treat weakness.
I know, stupid that I buy it, right? I guess because it’s healthier than cake or cupcakes, I buy it thinking I’m making a smarter treat choice. But then I eat it all. day. long.
I’ve tried all different brands and flavors and of course if time permits, I’ll make it homemade. I’ve found that some store bought brands have a lot of sugar or a lot of calories. Or really just have zero nutritional value at all.
But several months ago, I found the best granola out there. It’s Nature ValleyTM Protein Granola. Have you tried it yet?
It’s crunchy, sweet and has the BEST flavors. I have tried them all and love every single one of them. My favorite to snack on is the Peanut Butter N’ Dark Chocolate. SO. GOOD. My favorite kind with milk is the Oats N’ Dark Chocolate. Honestly, they’re all delicious. And it’s definitely tastier and healthier than most brands out there.
Whether it’s granola with milk, granola parfaits, granola baked with apples, granola cookies, or made into trail mix – granola is one of the most versatile foods that you can eat with many different meals.
This granola trail mix is such an easy snack! I’ve made it several times and it’s gone quick every time. I just keep a bowl sitting out for my family to grab a handful of whenever they’re in the kitchen. It’s healthy, full of protein, and totally delicious. It’s a great snack for before or after a workout, too. Keep a baggie of it in your gym bag, purse, or car for a quick and easy on-the-go snack!
If you haven’t tried Nature ValleyTM Protein Granola, you better run to your grocery store’s cereal aisle and grab one or all five kinds. And then make yourself some Granola Trail Mix! 🙂
