A super easy cheese ball that’s sure to impress any guests! It’s creamy, tangy, irresistible and won’t take more than a few minutes to whip up. Definitely a crowd pleaser!
So, yeah. It’s Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas Eve to you!
What are your plans? Are you making a huge dinner? Spending time with family? Hanging out at home? Eating take out?
We don’t have any family close by so I’ll usually make a roast or ham for Christmas Eve dinner and we’ll do our own thing. But this year we were invited over to a friends house for dinner which is great because I don’t have to cook. Yay!
I am supposed to bring a dessert and/or a snack. This Easy Cheese Ball will be perfect to bring along to the dinner.
It’s simple to throw together and only takes a few minutes, but the flavor is awesome. I love savory appetizers and cheese and crackers is one of my favorites.
I’m not sure why, but I definitely have a small obsession with cheese balls. Nothing against my mom, but she never made them.
I remember going to a family party when I was a kid and seeing a cheeseball for the first time. I didn’t even know what it was! I remember eating a whole lot of that cheese ball and falling in love with the concept.
Now, I love making cheese balls for any occasion. They’re so quick and easy to make but have a distinct flavor that is just, well…addicting. This particular cheese ball is one of my favorites. It’s always a hit at any party! Merry Christmas, friends!

Yes, this is easy. I need to make one of these soon for an event. I have never made one before. This looks
pretty dang easy and something that people would fight over. Ha! Happy Holidays!!!!
Thanks Jen for the nice recipe.
We’ll be staying put as we don’t have family here. Might go out to eat. Not sure yet. Hope your Christmas is a Merry one.
Wow.
Super easy!
I added bacon bits, diced shrimp and pineapple chunks … Awesome!
Hi! I would love to try and make this! Do you recommend making it the night before an event? Or will it even keep well overnight?
Thanks!
Hi Samantha! Yes, it keeps well overnight when wrapped in plastic wrap! It is so good! I hope you give it a try!
Do you recommend a time limit to keep out (if it isn’t devoured) since it has mayonnaise in it?
It’s usually fine to keep out for few hours. If you were bringing it to a party, you can keep it out for a few hours and then refrigerate the leftovers (if there are any!) I hope you try it!
Is the parmesan cheese and cheese cheese shredded?
Thank you for pointing that out! It’s shredded, I fixed it in the recipe. Thank you!!
Love your recipes
Thank you so much!!!
Looks good. Thanks for sharing.
Can you really taste the mayonnaise? For some reason the thought of using mayo in this is intimidating to me because I’m afraid the taste will be too strong?
Hi! No, you can’t really taste the mayo. It doesn’t overpower the cheese ball. It just adds a little more creaminess to it. I hope you’ll try it out!
I made a few of these. Think I could freeze one for a month or two?
I’ve never frozen one before but I’m thinking it should be fine to freeze!!
This is my go to recipe when hosting guests or when I need to whip something up quick to take to a party. This recipe is so easy, delicious and elegant! Every time I make this cheese ball I get so many comments on how delicious it is! There are never leftovers!

Ooooh yum!! These sound amazing! I love the flavor of those smokehouse almonds… and… you really can’t go wrong with cheese and bacon! ?
It is seriously the BEST this ever!!!
Seriously one of the best cheese balls I’ve ever had. I did decide to swap out green onions for some fresh chives and it was amazing! Thanks for sharing!
I’m so glad you liked it!
Will be doing this for my next tea party!
You are going to LOVE it!!!
Delicious!
What is the best way to chop almonds?
Hi Dana! Buy the sliced almonds in the small bags and just take a knife to it. So easy! Much easier than buying whole almonds and trying to chop those up. I hope that helps!
