Easy Watermelon Peach Cooler – a delicious drink made from ripe peaches and watermelon then mixed with lemon-lime soda. Refreshing, healthy and easy!
Well, summer is just about over. For some, school has already started. For others, like my boys, you might have a week or two left. BUT it’s still hot outside!
I don’t know about you, but I’m still living up the summer fruits in the grocery stores. Soft peaches and ripe watermelon… yes, please!
We love watermelon at our house! Watermelon is the best (and easiest) side dish for a quick dinner, a healthy dessert or just to enjoy while playing outside.
Since we always seem to have more watermelon than I know what to do with this time of year, I decided to blend some up and make a drink out of it. Plus, I heart peaches. So I threw them in there, too. 😉
This Watermelon Peach Cooler is a great way to not only quench your thirst but to drink your fruit as well! It’s light and refreshing and delicious. So easy and only a few ingredients needed. The perfect drink to sit on the porch slurping on a warm summer {or fall} day. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped watermelon
- 1 white peach peeled, sliced
- 1-2 Tbsp. agave OR 1 tsp. Truvia sweetener
- 1/2 tsp. lime juice
- 1/2 cup ice plus more for serving
- lemon-lime soda
Instructions
- In a blender, combine watermelon, peach, agave, lime juice and ice. Blend until liquified.
- Pour into glasses over ice (if desired). Add in lemon-lime soda until it tastes how you like it. Serve with a lime slice and a straw. Enjoy!
